Ihab Toma
Executive Vice President, Operations

Ihab Toma is Executive Vice President, Operations, for Transocean Ltd.

Before being named to his current position in August 2011, Mr. Toma served as Executive Vice President, Global Business, and previously as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Planning.


Based in Geneva, Mr. Toma is responsible for the operations of the company's worldwide fleet of 134 mobile offshore drilling units, carried out in its nine divisions.

 

Mr Toma also oversees the Engineering and Technical Support, Asset, Performance, Marketing, Field Human Resources and Talent Management, Global Finance and Business Support groups.

 

Before joining Transocean in 2009, Mr. Toma served in different capacities in Schlumberger, including product line President and various other oilfield services assignments with regional and global responsibilities in France, the United States, Norway, Italy, Nigeria, Algeria, Indonesia and Egypt.

Mr. Toma holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University where he graduated in 1985.
