The products we review range from the materials used to clean and maintain our rig fleet and their accommodation to the control fluids, oils and drilling products used during well-construction projects worldwide.

Transocean is partnered with Houghton International to provide a range of products that deliver reduced environmental impact. From subsea and surface BOP fluids to riser tensioner fluids, the partnership ensures every rig in our fleet utilizes a green product replacement in these key operational systems.

Green Pipe Dope

The greases we use to lubricate our drill pipe components are now chosen to provide a greater level of reliability with a reduced impact on the environment. These greases stand up to extreme pressures and temperatures while being non-toxic to the environment and rapidly biodegradable.

Green Hydraulic Fluid Solutions

A significant portion of our drilling fleet, including our new build vessels, uses state-of-the-art, readily biodegradable hydraulic fluids in all key rig applications from rig floor to crane hydraulics.
