Special Features

Tender mode For Tender Assisted Drilling (TAD) the drill floor, substructure and aft section of the cantilever can be detached from the main body of the cantilever and deposited on an adjacent platform.  The drill floor is then placed at any position on the platform capping beams by a Lift and Roll System (LARS).
CTU 600 kip Conductor Tensioning Unit positioned below the cantilever beams, provides tension at any point within the drilling envelope. Secondary tensioning system provides for an additional 360 kips tension.
BOP Handling 125 ton bridge crane with telescoping lifting forks allows the BOP to be placed anywhere within a three dimensional envelope of the wellhead and handling area, with two additional 15 ton bridge cranes in the enclosed BOP storage area to facilitate assembly and handling of BOP stacks and subsea trees (TAD or cantilever modes).
