Our Company  Our Management David Walls
Before being named to his current position, Mr. Walls served since 2009 as General Manager for our U.K. North Sea Division (NRS). He joined the company in 1984 and served in roles of increasing responsibility, including Offshore Motorman, Rig Mechanic and Subsea Engineer. In 1996, he moved into onshore positions, including Rig Manager responsible for Jackups, Midwater Rigs and Deepwater Drillships, Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Country Manager and General Manager. During his career with Transocean, Mr. Walls has been based in countries including Angola, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Nigeria, Trinidad, the United Kingdom and the United States. Mr. Walls earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, with honors, and an MBA degree from the Open University in the United Kingdom.
